You won’t owe any out-of-pocket for attorney’s fees or expenses. We work on a contingency fee basis which means our fees will be a percentage of funds recovered for you. Attorneys fees and expenses will be recovered from settlements or judgments obtained. If we aren’t successful in making a recovery for you, you won’t owe any fees or expenses.

Can I pursue my legal claims later?

asbestos legal claim filesIt’s critical to pursue your legal claims quickly for several reasons. First, there are laws in every state, including Texas, that place a limited amount of time, called the statue of limitations, on your legal ability to timely bring a claim of mesothelioma or lung cancer. To ensure that your case is filed prior to the statue of limitations deadline you need to act quickly and seek legal counsel. Second, it’s important to meet an attorney without delay to establish your work and asbestos exposure history and to take your deposition about your exposure to asbestos. You are the prime witness to testify in your case about how you were exposed to asbestos.

How long will it take to resolve my mesothelioma case?

There is no hard and fast timeframe as each case is different but we will move as quickly as possible to obtain a quick trial setting in your case. As mesothelioma is a serious and life-threatening disease, we typically request a speedy trial date allowing you to have your day in court quickly. Often within 12 months of filing a case you’ll have your trial dates. Timelines for wrongful death claims are usually longer.
